Very friendly staff, Joe is training two new girls atm, when I went in there it wasn't that busy luckily ( I got a sausage for the dog too ) My Cod 'n' Chips were freshly cooked and were to die for, as usual. I'm sure glad their shop isn't that far from me.. I've seen their shop with a queue out of the door, even in the cold of winter..... Lovely food from lovely people. Thank you......

Simply put I love the food, the team and service from this place. It's the best in Yeovil, and I am sure beyond, for all things fish and chips orientated. The selection is great and tastes excellent, with decent portions supplied. Its cooked fresh and to order. The batter is heavenly and mouth watering. The service is so personable, organised and efficient too, with or without a pandemic. I always get a welcome from all the team behind the counter, they ask after you and family, and they can almost pre-empt the order I place. They never forget you either. Excellent food and service with a smile too. Its what keeps me going back there. Appreciated and hard to beat these days

The best fish and chips in Yeovil and possibly Somerset! Large pieces of flaky white cod with tasty well seasoned batter, and a generous helping of chips. They also do not use hydrogenated oil in their cooking (unlike Palmers, I suspect). Fast and friendly service. Excellent, fully recommended!

This fish and chip ship in Glentworth Avenue is unique.. chicken nuggets are portions of chicken cooked in the fryer and are excellent. Prices are very good, the quality is excellent and quantities are generous. They use vegetable oil to cook in 👍 (not lard, thank goodness! ) Kids won't let us go to another fish and chip shop unless this one is closed for vacations. Highly recommended
